Smooth jazz artist and Cleveland Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honoree, guitarist/vocalist Christopher Wintrip, fronts this high-energy show alongside seasoned veteran musicians Dan Porter, Warren Henry, Max Byers, and drummer/vocalist prodigy Chris Wintrip Jr. Together, they create a performance you won’t see anywhere else!
WINTRIP’s soon-to-be-released single “RUBY”, featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Bob James on piano, will be targeting radio stations across the U.S. and all major streaming platforms.
The recognizable hits from the artists they portray engage the audience and encourage sing-alongs. This unique show is packed with high energy, captivating entertainment, powerful vocals, and stellar guitar and saxophone work!

Chris Wintrip
Biography
Chris Wintrip – accomplished guitarist, vocalist, entertainer, composer, instructor, and recording artist with over 50 years of experience in the music industry. He has performed with Joe Walsh, Frampton’s Camel, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Roger McGuinn, Harry Chapin, Peter Frampton, Climax Blues Band, The Raspberries, Phil Keaggy & Glass Harp. He was honored in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame exhibit "My Town" with the 1970s prog band Brimstone and their LP Paper Winged Dreams.
Known by his peers for constantly reinventing himself, Chris majored in music at Kent State University and the University of Akron, performing in the KSU Lab Band.
In 2000, he recorded a jazz CD with artists Kevin and Hilary James DiSimone (daughter and son-in-law of Grammy Award-winning artist Bob James).
He was the lead frontman for EVOLUTION, a touring Eric Clapton tribute show that ran for ten years, and a featured guitarist/vocalist in ZYGRT: The Ultimate Tribute Show.
Chris’s soon-to-be-released single “Ruby”, featuring Bob James on piano, aired on radio stations and streaming platforms in September 2023. Now in 2024, “Stellar”, featuring pianist Bobby Lyle, has just hit the Billboard Top 100!

BIOGRAPHY
At an early age has become
a skilled musician performing various shows with his
Father. He is skilled at Full drum kit as well as
percussion such as Cajon. He has taught at local
music shops with integrity helping students to
achieve lesson assignments while maintaining
rapport with each student. In his Senior year at
Washinton High School he was awarded several
scholarships as well as the prestgious “Louis
Armstrong” Award of Excellence. He also partipated
in top perfroming group The “Washingtonians.” Was
a section leader and squad leader for the Massillon
Tiger Swing band. Chris attended Kent State
University under the direction of Bobby Sivagio
majoring in music and also composes,records,
produces and sings his own original music.He
recently engineeredand mastered his Fathers soon
be released Smooth Jazz single ‘RUBY’ featuring
Bob James on piano.

Waren Henry
Biography
has approached music from many
angles. He started playing guitar at age five and
never stopped! In college he studied guitar, piano
with influences in Classical and Jazz. His stage
persona is second to none as he engaes with the
audience with his amazing bass support and solos!
Not content to just play, he learned to build, repair
and customize guitars and basses and spent time
working for guitar making icon Leo Fender. Teaching
is another aspect of music Warren enjoys. Warren
has performed with many local bands, versatile in
every music genre and has performed for the past
ten years in three concert stage shows – Clapton
Tribute EVOLUTION, Ohio Rock Legends and
currently “ZYGRT” The Ultimate Tribute! Warren
currently is performing and will be touring with artist
Chris Wintrip in the coming years.
Max Byers
Biography
Saxophone, Digital Horn, Vocals has
performed in a wide variety of musical groups from
Tri - C Big Band where they opened for a Tony
Bennett Charity event in Cleveland, National
recording artist/drummer Joe Vitale, to many local
bands throughout Ohio.He taught privately for
several years and mentored as a bass instructor at
the Arts Academy in New Jersey and was the Head
of the Jazz Program at Appel Farm Arts Camp. Max
studied under Woodwinds Master Tony Watson
Junior of ‘Pieces of a Dream.’ Max’s unique talents
bring high energy to the “WINTRIP” show with Alto
Sax and a Roland AE30 Pro Digital horn.
dan porter
biography
Keyboard extraordinaire and bass support for three touring
tribute bands, ClaptonTribute Evolution, Southern Roots and Kings
Highway. Dan started taking classical piano lessons at the age of 6 and
continued for the next 13 years. Developing into a multi-keyboardist, he left
Akron U to tour with “Brimstone” in support of their Rock Hall of Fame “My
Town” album “Paper Winged Dreams” and subsequent single release. Dan
was Musical Director at the Broadway style “Overture Supper Club” for 6
years and, as a “first call” session player, has written and played on many
local radio commercials and industrial soundtracks including major projects
for Geauga Lake and the Cleveland Browns. Currently, he has a full
schedule of piano students and performs with Chris Wintrip in various
shows, now with Smooth Jazz Artist “WINTRIP!”
